Faculty development is a critical component to any successful blended learning initiative. Faculty must be supported by being provided the tools for success. By engaging in a meaningful training experience, either self-paced or as part of a facilitated cohort, faculty should have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the nuances of designing and delivering blended learning.
The addition of technology to any academic program must be accompanied by fundamental process re-design. These Moodle PD course have been designed to provide a process for participating teachers to learn collaboratively to include innovative technology, curricular reinvention, participant training, and ongoing assessment support, all of which are necessary for meaningful, sustainable, disruptive transformation.
